Moosie has 5 kids that all hunt and knows the cost of outfitting a youth hunter one year, only to have to buy new gear the next year or two once they outgrow them. This can be frustrating as a parent that wants their child to be adequately equipped but knows the reality of having to upgrade the following year.

 

The program is currently only in the DWR gear but works like this:

 

1. Buy any youth size DWR gear for your youth hunter. This can be new gear or in future years gear that has been returned in good shape and on the "PRE-HUNTED/REDUCED PRICE" page.

2. At any time the hunter "outgrows" but does not "wear out" the outfit, they can be returned to the store and receive 50% store credit for the purchase price. Hopefully, this credit will be used to upgrade to larger gear but can really be used to purchase anything in the store.

3. If the gear was not worn during that year, they can be returned and replaced with a bigger size for the next year FREE of charge, no questions asked. This return can be done right after the season or just before the season the following year.

 

It's that simple.

 

You might ask what is considered "worn out". Let's be honest, I'm a businessman that is trying to make a living. I am also trying to provide a service to keep youth interested in hunting.  Being comfortable with quality gear for youth is part of that success story. As long as it's in a shape that doesn't look like it's been through a wood chipper I will take it back and take care of you. No fingers crossed, no red tape, no fine print.
